He has become one very experienced and skilled individual and someone to look up to from the experience gathered in the various sectors in business. There are many important lessons people have drawn from him as he has been such an inspiration to many.
For example a CEO, vision is very important for any leader. Being a leader full knowledge of the business from the inside out is something that you must have. Where the company is headed and where it ought to be is something you should know. It is until then that they’ll be able to guide employees and those under them on how things should be handled. The decisions that should be made and the course of action to be taken is dictated by the vision. Through this the company and everyone in them gets a sense of direction.
Another important quality is that one must be accessible and approachable by everyone in the company or business. The open-door system is the approach that has taken over. This simply means that anyone can be able to approach leadership without any hindrances and share their hearts and mind concerning certain things that could be troubling them.
One other important quality is respect. Respect is one thing that is two-way in that when you respect someone you’re also respected in return. Even though your employees are under you and under your command, it is what is good to respect them. You and respect instead of commanding and therefore peaceful coexistence is created between you and your employees. You will be a good example to employees and they will emulates these when relating among themselves.
One thing that has also been pointed out is learning from people even as you scale up the ladder. We learn from different people around us even those that are below us for instance employees. It is important that you continue learning from people and not to despise anyone even as you scale up the career ladder. Whatever you learn all is make sure you apply and put into practice so that it ceases to be knowledge but it may also transform you.
But not least, it is important to be true and honest with yourself and others. Be true to others and they will also do the same for.
